Company Director: Dr Fiona Stewart, PhD, FGS
It’s not only Fiona Stewart’s PhD in Quaternary Geology and PGDIP in hydrographic surveying that make her an ideal consultant on geological matters subsea, she also brings a vast and varied engineering career with her in founding HRSS Ltd. This career, importantly, involves numerous large-scale projects spanning both the Oil & Gas and Renewable industries over the last 25 years.
Fiona has enjoyed a variety of senior subsea engineering roles, from the Valhall PFS HVDC Project to offshore technical rep activities for Statnett, NPD and the Iceland Energy department; and as varied as the subsea archaeological surveys for the ‘Rising Tides’ Project in an area of palaeo-landscapes off the Orkney shores.
Outside work, Fiona can be tracked down in the Scottish and Norwegian mountains; running, cross-country skiing or mountain-biking her way across various terrains, the tougher the better.
